Tom Peck has been involved in professional photography for over thirty years, both as an advertising agency creative director at Young & Rubicam in Toronto, New York City and San Francisco, and as a still photographer.

His clients have included Merrill Lynch, Met Life, Kodak, PBS, Sony, NCAA and Verisign. Tom has the distinction of being the first ever to shoot a commercial inside the Pantheon in Rome.

While there are quite a few photographers he admires; Kertez, Callahan, Muna, Avedon, and Kander, among many others, he has always pursued his own conceptual direction. He also has a substantial portfolio of "shots that just needed to be taken"

"While living in Canada in the 70's (I'm the only person I know who served in Vietnam, then fled to Canada) I was primarily a landscape photographer. I thought I had a nice, original body of work until I discovered that Eliot Porter had shot it all years earlier."

Tom was a graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA and has taken photographs everywhere from the Yukon to Australia, Western and Eastern Europe, Canada, Mexico, Africa, and in most of the U.S.

Tom currently lives and works on his ranch in Paso Robles, California.
